As my wife and I descended the stairs to Davide Restaurant we were captured by a wall full of culinary awards.There was one award that captured our interest(Davide,`One of the top 50 Italian restaurants in the United States`) At first we thought that was quite a tall order to live up to but soon found out why.The food not just good but incredible.The homemade pasta was cooked to perfection.We had butternut squash raviole in a light cream sauce with Gongazola cheese,pecans and procutto that words wouldn't do it justice.Yes!!It was that good that I Remembered the ingredients.Davide's wine list was extensive.Plenty of chioces for all wine lovers which explains why Davide has been the reciepient of the (Wine Spectator Award)for the past decade or so.We will be back,OFTEN!!not only for the culinary delight but for the ambience(romantic)and service which was professional and friedly.My wife and I have eaten in many North End restaurants and Davide was the best by far.If your looking for elegance,charm,and the ultimate culinary expierience look no further.DAVIDE surpassed all our expectations!!!!
